Kwale county residents have been urged to support the County Health Officers undertaking sensitization campaigns on the coronavirus pandemic.
On Tuesday afternoon Kwale Deputy Governor H.E Fatuma Achani inspected various sanitization points set by the Public Health Department in Kwale township and asked the people to observe guidelines by the government on measures to contain cases of coronavirus infections.
This comes at a time when Kenya has confirmed four cases of infection so far.

In preparedness to deal with cases of coronavirus infection if reported, the county government of Kwale through the health department has already set aside isolation wards in some of the health facilities in the county including the Msambweni County Referral Hospital, Lunga Lunga Sub County Hospital, Kinango Sub County Hospital and Kwale Sub County Hospital.
The County Health Department has set out a hotline number 0768 078 070 for citizens to easily give out important information.
So far Kwale County has not reported any case of COVID-19.
