It is advisable to stay aware of the latest information on the COVID-19 outbreak. According to the World Health Organization, COVID-19 is still affecting mostly people in China with reported outbreaks in other countries.
Most of those who become infected with the coronavirus experience mild illness and recover, but it can be more severe for others. It is therefore advisable to take care of yourself and protect others too.
1. Wash Your Hands Regularly:
It is recommended that you regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with with soap and water. This is because washing your hands with soap and water kills viruses that may be on your hands.

Reason? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can easily breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the that person has the disease.
3. Avoid Touching Eyes, Nose & Mouth
Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.
4. Practice Respiratory Hygiene
Make sure that you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately because droplets spread virus.
